The lollipop girl often brings in candy to work, and this week it was a bag of strawberry 3 Musketeers minis. I liked these quite a bit and I was the one that finished them. Also notable at work was seeing a repairman- for the copier- using a vacuum cleaner. I said I hadn't seen this before but we're fine with it as long as it helps get the copier working properly again. It likely was a good idea that I made no jokes about the lonely Maytag repairman, even though my dad worked for the company so it takes on a different meaning than it does for most.
I had seen the syndicated rerun of 'Big Bang Theory' before, but I liked it. This episode deals with Sheldon facing his nemesis, who was dating Leonard. He uses an extension cord on his laptop during their date, in many ways it was meant to be passive-aggressive or just plain annoying. The first-run episode was where Raj meets a girl from the comic book store, a continuation of the Valentines Day episode of last week. The girl walks out on the date, which was at a coffee shop. Then he mopes around for a while, refusing to go to work, and wants to just eat lobster that he ordered online. But eventually he snaps out of it because he gets another chance with her. His friends tried to intervene, as it was hard to ingore how he wasn't at work, but he asked to be left alone. Penny is in a production of 'Streetcar Named Desire'. Amy, Leonard, and Sheldon attend it. Not sure why Howard and Bernadette were not there as well, though they are the sole married couple. They were at Raj's intervention. Kind of funny when Amy Farrah Fowler said she was no longer doing the primate smoking study as she was told it was unacceptable to throw their feces back at them, though it was fine to get them addicted to nicotine for the study.
