One E-bay order arrived today, it was the postcard of Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, home of the Baseball Hall of Fame. In my visit there in 2005 I just saw the museum but not the field. I have definitely thought about baseball often lately, proven in the orders I have placed. I did finally forward the claim form to the Bill Me Later dispute department about the two orders of Snoopy stamps from Hong Kong that did not arrive. Wasn't that hard to do when it topped my priority list, attach the completed claim form and send the email.
I did notify a movie friend, whom I met at the screening of 'Labor Day', how I will do my best to attend his planned outing with movie friends at a drive-in this summer. I said I hadn't been to a drive-in theater in a while and I see it as something to write about. I was non-committal at first, just last week, as I spoke of 'Baseball and Museum Season' being busy for me. But if it means picking another weekend to do my annual visit to St. Louis, I can do that as no travel reservations have been made just yet. I printed a form that listed the drive-ins found in Minnesota, as I wanted to do more long-range planning. I had to list events I would like to attend, such as Kaposia Days in South St. Paul, to see if the logistics work for everything I would like to do. So far so good, no conflicts I am aware of at this point.
Tonight was another edition of the contest at the comedy club. I saw how three comedians did well, but just the top two advance to the semifinals. The rapper comic was the leadoff, and the 'Resistable'
comic along with Turtle Check advanced. The former did one about her boyfriend being like a waterbed. The latter did one about having OBCD, and food recipes being like porn. One comic ran the light, but I didn't know who he was at all. I got some comments about the patriotic shirt I was wearing, something I am used to by now.
