after work i saw a cart in my neighborhood and went to return it to the grocery store. on my way back i saw unopened cans of beer at the bus stop. it was a 12-pack of summit, 2 of them had already been opened. there was a younger dude next to me at the light asking 'want a beer?' as he decided to claim one of the cans. at first i balked at doing the same, saying i wasn't sure how long it had been out and it was likely warm. also because it was an ale, and i prefer lager and pilsner beers. i went home and had some applesauce and little debbie snack cakes, then ventured out again to the bus stop. i got a picture of the cans of beer in the box, and claimed one of them so there was 8 left. i went out again more than 2 hours later and the box was empty. no surprise how apparently the rest of it was claimed, who doesn't like free beer? i am still amazed at all of the consumable items i find near me. unopened cans of fruit, jars of peanut butter, boxes of cereal. i see public service ads that speak of how much food is wasted in america, and obviously this is some of the evidence. so now i have four cans of beer again waiting to be drank as i had one tonight with dinner, the minnesota gold from cold spring. i have 2 schell's, and one each of summit, and modelo. i will likely consume all of these in the next two weeks as i have had on average two beers a week for a little while. during my walks i found 82 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when amy gets spanked by sheldon. it was followed by the one where sheldon and amy have dinner guests, including an immigrant learning english from watching TV. at work i finished another online class so there is one left, and i still have more than three weeks before it is due. during lunch i went to walgreen to get some snack items and found another charlie brown-themed word find. i also went to the branch to deposit a check into my personal account, it was a refund on health insurance premiums from a previous year.
