this morning i watched a DVD movie, a redbox rental, 'gasoline alley'. i recognized bruce willis and luke wilson in it. this was about the owner of a tattoo shop being framed for the murder of four girls, hookers. at times the movie felt slow, even though it was about 90 minutes in length. a few things in the story didn't make sense, such as the main character being alone in a police car with an arrested man. this leads to him stealing the police car. i checked the closing credits and i noticed the cast listed a character name 'eleanor rigby', i caught this as a reference to a beatles song. this was the singer that the main character was told to find in order to unravel who was trying to frame him. i have seen better movies than this one. especially when a cop early on is accusing the main character of the crime while interrogating, and not inside a police station, despite saying there wasn't enough evidence yet to make an arrest.
once the movie was done i went to the post office, two orders to pick up. then i went to the gas station to dump the movie. i traded texts with a comic that is in town this weekend, trying to figure out when we can meet up for a drink. i laid down for a while, then went to aldi for my weekly grocery order. i moved it up a little as i wanted to be back in time for the start of the baseball game on Fox, the opener of their coverage for this season. it was the cubs at the white sox, cubs won 5-1. later on i went on a walk and found 74 cents.
