i was expecting 'the conners' on ABC tonight but a show honoring the 50th anniversary of 'school house rocks' was on instead. it was for a full hour, and some of these i hadn't seen before. i was most familiar with 'bill on capitol hill' as it had been parodied on 'the simpsons'. some actors, including kal penn, had football jerseys on with the number 50. also liked seeing some muppets as presenters, kermit the frog and fozzie bear. so this meant i didn't watch the news either. i liked mention of one fact, where people are more likely to remember something if it is set to music. it explains why i still like the commercial for a car dealer, 'RB honda'. or 'music box dancer' being part of a commercial for homemakers plaza. at work there was two meetings in the morning, one was the team huddle. i was asked to enter a work order for changing the codes to the check shop. after it was a dial-in, covering various subjects within the company, including the recent acquisition. i wrote down something about buying company stock as part of the retirement account, as i haven't looked at my account much since i started. in the evening i went on a walk and found 32 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when sheldon's mom showed up to help him get his job back. it was followed by the one where leonard and penny get back together, having sex after fighting. i did some more moving around in my foreign coin collection, between the tin and album. wanted to get the coins from the same nation together, and a USA dime is now in a smaller coin holder so it stays in place better.
