this was the day of the Minnesota Twins baseball game where a Hawaiian shirt i wanted was being given away. i had to order a special themed ticket but i didn't mind as it has a Charlie Brown theme. one reason is because it is held for me until i pick it up and i don't have to be one of the first in line to get it. no surprise how the team's mascot, TC bear, was dressed for the occasion, wearing Charlie's famous shirt. the Twins beat the Washington Nationals, 1-0. a sac fly was what scored the game's only run. i was in the upper deck as i wasn't picky about where i was sitting. it proved to be a good idea as there was a laser light show after the game ended, and i had a good view for it. some of it did include the Charlie Brown characters, of course. i had dinner at the stadium, and i found out that cub foods, the grocery store chain, has a location there. this is where i got a bratwurst. i also got some ice cream from another concession stand. the tough thing was knowing what to do before the game and after getting off work as i had some time to fill. i decided to take the light rail back to my car and left some things in my car that i didn't want to carry around during the game. the Twins jersey given to me by my stepfather, i wasn't just wearing it at the game. i was also wearing it at work. no one said anything and i didn't expect anyone to either when many are working from home on Fridays, or that is the day of the week where people are more likely to take the day off, period.
