i attended three shows at the fringe festival. the one standout for the day was the first one, a non-verbal dance show called husk/vessel. sounded like it was performed by an out-of-town dance troupe, but they were really good, using curtains as props with their dancing. this was at the southern theater, the second show was right after it at the rarig. then i went to perform at an open-mic and then went home and did the dishes. third show was the final time slot of the night, 10pm, about a lady artist that died decades ago. the second show was about storytelling. there were some bright moments from those other two, but in my both fell short for various reasons.
