I watched 'Toy Story' on DVD tonight, heard about it in a book by a motivational speaker, about the toys rising up against the kid who wanted to destroy the toys. Good movie, liked the Randy Newman music in it.
Nobody expected me to be on time for work today after seeing the Lady Gaga show, but I was. Wonder if they had a betting pool about it. I posted good reviews on Ticketmaster, as well on the Facebook page for the Xcel Energy Center, the venue. Uploaded a picture in front of the tour bus, one of many who wanted pictures there. Liked seeing all of the hideous outfits on the concertgoers. There was an art gallery nearby with Gaga-inspired art. Not even the religious zealots- denouncing her and her fans- prevented me from having a good time there. Souvenirs were expensive, but that's common at concerts. Decided to get a program for $30, cheaper than the shirts. Plenty of pictures in it, and the few words were song lyrics. My favorite moment was when she spoke to the crowd- one misfit to many- telling them to always feel good about themselves, in spite of any naysayers. Nice touch when she called somebody in the crowd, before playing "Telephone", inviting them backstage after the show.
