I got on the wrong bus after work and decided not to go home like I usually do. It was more important to get over to the comedy club for the show. It meant stopping at the CVS pharmacy for a quick dinner, the one near University and Snelling in St. Paul. I didn't drive to the club, and took the light rail home. On the train home I saw trash that I threw out at my stop. All of it was empty food and drink containers. This included Miller beer, Dairy Queen, Diet A and W, and Life cereal. It is once again a sad commentary about litter.
At the comedy club tonight, the opera singer was show closer. He did ones about Cap'n Crunch, and his brother working at Ft. Snelling. I liked hearing about the business of comedy from a comic who has a CD out. Not sure if he has a nickname, but I recall he had a gig at the Sturgis bike rally before. I did some more searching online and was amazed at how many comics I recognized on the list of available recordings at the three record labels I know of currently.
One comic spoke of being a 'ginger', meaning he was red-haired. Neck tattoo did one about a Wendy's chili spoon. Louisiana did ones about Willie Nelson, and baggage claim. Tetris did one about scientology hoodies, and a wolf den. School bouncer did one about MLK. Wisconsin girl performed, cant read my notes. Sturgis did one about a lady cop. Bathtub comic did ones about a unicycle and a helium death. University accountant did ones about Michael Moore, and Olive Garden. Extra murder did ones about how it's not his real name, and his birthday, a food truck, and a donut burger. Fantasia did one about 8/9 days. Maryland did ones about Urkel, and an orgy. Perkins did one about 'porn hub, and Dahmer'. Another was about Harry Potter.
