I went to Dairy Queen tonight and ate their chicken strip basket since I had a coupon from the Blizzard Fan Club. When I got there the sign outside had it on sale, no coupon needed. Well I still presented it as it is expiring soon and I mainly go there for the ice cream. I finally went there after posting photos on Facebook, mostly from both of the memorials for Bill Young.
After the stop at Dairy Queen, I went to see 4 friends do comedy. This was extra murder, school bouncer, Perkins, and a member of The Turkeys (who was tonight's MC).
The MC did ones about how it is hard to pronounce his name, crash his twin birth, a fake accent, and lots of treats. Others were about a cheap hotel, and Bubba Gump shrimp. He was added to my ring of honor at the wedding in September, along with Oklahoma. Extra murder did ones about carry on legacy, a little stabby, a cardboard 'Eat at Wendy's' sign, grade school in Kentucky, a strip club in Peoria, and antique car horn in bed.
School bouncer did one about a godfather and an 'Assembly required' bike. Others were about his parents being married for 36 years, check the fridge, Ice Cube, college experiences with Wisconsin girls, his football coach, a Packer player chant, Fox Sports or Fox News?, a 100-year-old woman, and checking the balance when going to Redbox. Perkins did one about aerospace and film school. Others were about crude gift wrapping, hipster Waldo, Dallas buyers club, Dad and word problems, Mom is a teacher, PMS roar, Dad's showers, hunting blow guns, family cruise, South Dakota park wedding, car almost towed, and his lady's cat.
