i did another virtual open-mic tonight and moved my computer into a room with more light, same as last week. so it meant being next to my hat rack again. there were some comments about that and i can use them in my comedy and storytelling material. the ones about photography and target commercials went well.
at work there was a high volume of checks to get out the door, and it meant the trainer telling me i had to re-pack the mail tubs to get it all into just six of them. that is the limit of what can fit on the cart. i like knowing i can over-fill them a little, as long as i can get the zip ties on to close them. it went fairly smoothly on keeping the machine going. there was a problem with envelope placement in the morning, but thankfully it was not consecutive jams. i was able to find all of them to clear and got it going again in short order. during one of my breaks i walked over to find a transit center, but i saw a sign on the door saying it was still closed to the public due to the virus. i like the commute i have chosen, it is under 20 miles and the traffic flows well enough. at the end of the day i stopped to get photos of a burned-out gas station. late last week i saw them putting up a fence around it, so i figured it was time to get pictures before demolition. i did a walk in the evening after eating and picked up 8 cents. the 'big bang theory' rerun i watched after dozing off was about amy picking out a wedding dress.
