the fewer meetings, the better, is my attitude. so this was a tough day for me, having four meetings. all in the first half of the day. first was one about return to office, slated for next week. except i am already there. second was the typical team huddle. i had to ask about online classes, only ones known are due at the end of march. i also had to ask about the groups mentioned in the first meeting, as to what day the department i am in will have people returning as i understand the 'return to office' will be just one day a week for now. third was an upskilling session, but i am aware of how those aren't the most important meetings i have. and i was wondering why i couldn't hear the moderator when i dialed in online, so i called in through the phone and could hear her that way. the fourth was moved up, as my boss was asking about a check that was returned to the fargo office but was printed nearly two years ago, before i even started with the company. so he called our I.T. colleague and asked about re-formatting checks as well since the customary stock arrived this week. the fourth one was to be in the afternoon, but then was canceled as i already had to contact I.T. when there wasn't much 'blue stock' left. so we are to use what remains on the smaller files. in the evening i went on a walk and found 29 cents. the 'big bang theory' rerun was when the friends went to an elementary school to talk about women in science. and their ladies went to disneyland that same day. for the evening meal i drank the can of grain belt so now there are 2 beers waiting.
