late in the evening i went to see yemen native perform at fringe central, red sea in the cedar riverside area of minneapolis. it was a showcase, and i was offered 3 minutes. it was shotgun intros, so the performer onstage would do the intro for the next one as there was no emcee. it was loud there and hard to tell if that many were paying attention. i prefer a little more stage time but you get what you get. always thankful for a chance to perform, and i tried a new one about my dad giving someone a nickname. lunch lady, whopper and belarus were some of the others on the lineup. it was the first time i had seen the headliner since october if i am not mistaken. this was day 9 of the fringe and i have been active in some form or another on 6 days of it. previously it was 2 nights of ushering and 3 days of attending shows. at work there was under 20 overnight packages to send out, that is a low volume day. in the morning it looked like a copier was in the process of being moved out. i was asked to send a copy of a deposit ticket on the refund checks and had to say they had been overnighted. found out they were sent out too soon but i understood when i get them, then send them. in the evening i got a can of warpigs pilsner before i went to the adjacent hy-vee in eagan for my weekly grocery order, so now there are 4 beers waiting. after performing i drove home and during that walk after getting home i found 38 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when amy became popular by playing her friends off against one another. howard takes sheldon's class. it was followed by the one where sheldon and amy are married. i like this one because penny said 'park it' to amy's mom.
