as usual, i have to tell someone when i return to the office how it was a day off for me. in this case i don't know why i was copied on an email about checks that were not 'returned to business line'. i figured that someone would have noticed an out of office reply from me, or at least how the screen snip of tracking numbers wasn't from me. i filter out the checks that have no zip code, for the business line in Kansas City. i know those are to be returned to them. i also check if there are any over ten thousand that weren't marked as 'overnight' and see those are overnighted to the listed recipients. i know i don't see their returned checks as i use a different envelope compared to other business lines. hard to say what they will do with those checks, reissue them? put a stop payment on the others? i went to perform in the evening and had some stories about visiting St. Louis to share.
