not much on the docket for the day, which is typical for a Sunday. in the evening i went to see a movie at the Trylon cinema in Minneapolis, 'to be or not to be', a comedy from the World War Two era. hadn't seen too much before starring jack benny, although my dad has spoken of this comic actor before. and of course, he was name-checked in the movie 'back to the future'. the crowd loved it, plenty of laughing after deadpan lines. the movie title refers to the Shakespeare play that the troupe is trying to stage during the war in Poland, and what keeps happening when the actor gets to that line. it is part of a series of movies covering that era. i am used to this non-profit theater having various themes on what classic movies they are screening. i don't see all of them in a series usually, sometimes just one, in other cases it is two.
