 sometimes i interact with home-based employees. the directory has a wealth of information and i often say 'directory says you are here' when i am contacted first and not quite sure what it is that they want. in this case, the colleague was in Kansas and wanted a garden variety check copy. another was from a west side flats employee. the mortgage file was twelve checks, more than half of which were 'return to business line' as this meant fewer overnight labels to create. there was a check copy request from this file as well, but not from that day's file. more often than not, when i see a request from them, it is from that day's file. the Fargo check backlog was over three thousand, but of course those that remain are run through first the next day.
