the team lead was in the shop, and as usual said 'knock-knock' but i was sitting down in my office so i didn't get up right away. but i didn't have to say who's there as i knew who it was. i had to say that the supplies recently ordered had been signed for by me and were picked up by our boss already. also notable about the day was getting booked for a chair massage appointment, for two weeks from now. it was due to getting an emailed newsletter from the same organization and going back to the bank's monthly events announcement. i saw one appointment available and signed up for it near the end of the four-hour time allotment, but it is just 15 minutes. since i moved to the building over six months ago i had wanted to do that but it seemed to be all booked up rather quickly. either that or i was avoiding the QR code. this time i used the code and it led to what was available. i did another evening walk after watching reruns and the news. also at work the backlog of checks went down, to under two thousand. but it usually goes down as the week goes on, but it means sending out four full mail tubs. usually the most i will send out per day is three.
