scheduled and canceled

 i checked my timecard this morning and when i saw hours already added for wednesday, veterans day, i knew it is a day off for me. so i scheduled a dental appointment for that day, in the morning. i checked my voicemail at the end of the day and found out it was canceled, receptionist said the dental assistant was not available that day. of course it was disappointing, as i hardly ever hear of the provider canceling the appointment. so now i have to figure out what day off i want to take for this appointment. i do want to get it done this month. in other issues, the shipment of check stock arrived, 25 boxes. it was delivered to the bank branch so i took the cart over there and made 3 trips to get it done. i got a skype message that told me it was there. in the evening i went on a walk and picked up 70 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when howard and friends serenaded bernadette when she was in quarantine related to a raccoon virus. it was followed by the one where amy got a tiara. it was really funny to me because she said she was disappointed in penny but knew that wouldn't last. because it is her 'bestie'. i did a virtual open-mic in the evening and said the show's closing song, 'rainbow connection', is on a kohl's commercial i am seeing on TV. but it sounds like a version by willie nelson, instead of the muppets. the moderator hadn't heard it but he did tell a story of growing up in washington state and seeing TV commercials for rainier beer, something about the sound of a motorcycle sounded like the name of the beer.
