hy-vee coupons

 there wasn't much in the mail as usual. i did see a big card with Hy-Vee coupons. i do shop there, but all of these are only good from Monday through Thursday and i don't shop there on any of those days of the week. one side has offers for a 'grilling bundle' and for 'steak night'. the other side has coupons for various items including frozen pizza, milk, and apple juice. these are for five weeks, beginning next week. at work the file to be overnighted to Oshkosh arrived late. i had just enough time to print it and print the UPS label for it as well. another file will wait until the next day, but it was the court file. not the same ones as the previous day that was late, and a smaller volume as well. business lines have been made aware of how there is a cut-off time for files to arrive if they are to go out the same day. it no longer bothers me if files arrive late, as i have plenty of other things to keep me busy. and i can only print what i get, when i get it. the proverbial 'beyond my control'. i did a skyway walk to the Walgreen in the morning, getting a bottle of Starbucks coffee and some twinkies. but since the cupcake was waiting from the previous day, the twinkies were sent home and will be eaten this weekend. it is not a big deal for me to send some snack item home as i have my lunch bag that i can put it in. and i am used to getting at least two items when i go there. i drank the bottle of Stella Artois with the evening meal and picked up a can of goose island at the nearby liquor store so there still are four beers waiting. also in the evening, i ordered a free ticket to an event through the credit union next month. and at work i got signed up for a networking event that is also in May. during my walks i found 92 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when Sheldon retracted a discovery and made two visits on a radio show. it was followed by the one where the friends helped make 'penny blossoms'.
