in the morning i was asked to hop on a call about a blocked PDF check file. i did once i was back from the bathroom. there was only one like this, something about a 'potential policy violation' where the system thinks it's a credit card, but it isn't. i sent out three more toner cartridges for recycle, and there is three left that i can send out on Monday. the backlog went down some more, just under a thousand checks left over at the end of the day. i sent out three regular mail tubs. there was an instant message from a branch manager in California, i had overnighted a check there. i then copied the branch manager on an email to our customer service shared box to find out what to do with the check. i knew the payee on the check said it was for the city government. the invoice supplied by customer service said it was for a fee to the police department. it was a low amount for an overnighted check but i don't question it if the business line wants it overnighted. in the evening i went to a meetup event at a brewery, Summit in St. Paul. then i went grocery shopping at Hy-Vee in Eagan. i was pleased to find another Halloween cereal, it was captain crunch, on my second look through that aisle. it was on the bottom shelf, and it looks like i got the last box. i also got a silly hot dog greeting card that plays music, after seeing it was the last one. i had opened it to hear the music for weeks, as it reminded me of attending Oktoberfest in New Ulm.
