there was an email i was copied on where it was said that i could accept some refund checks as no one else from our team was onsite for the day. just before i went to lunch i went to the main floor by the security desk and took ownership of them. there was nine in an envelope and i will hand them off to a colleague sometime next week. i did not send out any toner cartridges as i wanted to get caught up on running checks through in the morning. thankful the backlog went down, as it usually does, as it was just over two thousand left over at the end of the day. one of the tickets is still open, it is the one about overflow pages. i was getting annoyed with having to enunciate everything and repeating myself with the tech assigned to it, then near the end of the day i was told it would be sent to someone else who might be able to do more with my boss's request.
