this was my first full day of test scoring for real. i counted my post-its near the end of the day, and there was 23. i spent some of my morning reviewing materials to become familiar with it, preferred doing that before i started scoring tests for real. i decided to stay longer today compared to the other days, although i was able to score just one test after 4pm. no other tests were popping up, the system just kept spinning. i decided to eat the final package of dried mangoes from my former boss at lunchtime, as i knew they were expiring soon. i made some calls during my breaks as well, one was to postpone a meeting scheduled for next week. i said 'good news, bad news'. how i am back at work, but only until late april. another was about a hockey ticket that i ordered for next week's game.
i tried watching TV in the evening during prime time but fell asleep before 'big bang theory' was done. eventually i knew i needed to get up and go out to perform. i did some karaoke, two songs. it was 'that don't impress me much' by Shania twain, and 'thank god i'm a country boy' by john Denver. i knew full well that going to two venues tonight would be a bad idea when i have to be up for work in the morning.
