april blizzard

it seems like the snow just doesn't want to end. i got my car out at mid-morning so i could go to the grocery store, felt good how it wasn't snowing then. but i started up again later on. i was pleased that i didn't get stuck at all during my errand running, not only for groceries but also to the library in the late afternoon. i had some help getting pushed out though, after shoveling around my car before starting the engine. i stopped at aldi, family dollar, and Walgreen. i also applied for some jobs that were related to the timberwolves job fair. although some of the leads there may not yield much, upon further research. but you do what you can, and must hope for the best on where i did apply. and still can apply. i am waiting for a password reset on one of the places i wanted to apply to. harder to remember passwords when i don't use them much. i got the dishes done a little earlier than typical, before watching 'the simpsons' as i wanted to devote plenty of time to applying later in the evening. the episode was about moe's family being in the mattress business. i heard people complaining about the snow, but i am pleased that it was basically just an inconvenience for me. so a few shows i could have performed at were canceled, big deal! this april blizzard could have been way worse. i would also have to add the MSP film-fest to this story. one movie i wanted to see, a bio-pic about the man behind 'mr, togers neighborhood', apparently was sold out. hopefully i will still have a chance to see it at theaters later on. but much like before, i wanted to curb my disappointment and got an advance ticket ordered for another movie. it will be in a week, i trust that it will be nicer weather by then.
