i went to perform at two different venues tonight, but i changed up where i parked. there was a new payment machine at my normal place, and it was picky-picky. usually when there is snow on the ground and one can't see the stall number, it would say 'enter 11'. well i tried various stall numbers, rejected all of them, so i decided to park at a ramp across the street. i was pleased that i ended up costing only a dollar more. i do this all the time, if it looks too hard, i line up alternate plans. it was nice to see Arizona Chicago at the performance venue tonight, the second one, though i arrived after her set was done. sounds like she has moved to the area, so hopefully i will have more chances to see her perform in the near future.
i was running an errand this morning, on foot, before i went to work, walking through the snow. when i got back home i slid a little once i got inside. so i said i needed to change to shoes with more traction as i didn't want to fall on my way to work. i scored 120 tests, i liked being able to push my personal record a little higher. due to the snow, we waited a few extra minutes this morning to see if more people would show up. then eventually our moderator said that some weren't going to make it, i think a few of them were ill so it wasn't necessarily the weather as to why they were absent. when i wanted to leave at the end of the day i had to push a little harder on the gas pedal to get out of the spot due to the snow. at the start of the day i submitted a typed note to my boss saying i would be doing a half-day next week, as i have an appointment.
