this evening i went to see a movie in st. paul, 'virgin suicides'. i recognized james woods, kathleen turner, and danny devito in it. the movie is from 1999, i found it on the theater's website when i was checking for what was playing at theaters that likely aren't listed on fandango. this was the second of three screenings for the week. it takes place in suburban detroit in the 1970s. as the title suggests, this was a dark movie. the mom was strict with her five girls and she is of course unlikeable, at one point forcing them to give up their rock music records. other times it was just plain weird. at work i overnighted another tax check and this time i notified my boss about it. nearly a week ago we were notified about the courier ending their service and we have yet to hear about another courier being chosen by the tax department. i drank the bottle of heineken with the evening meal so now two beers are waiting. after getting out of the movie i saw school bouncer in a vintage car. later on i went on a walk and found 68 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when sheldon got his yoko ono, ramona. and the barenaked ladies song was playing, rare that one hears music played in this show. it was followed by the one where stuart moves in with howard and bernadette as the couple is about to have a baby.
