went to the czech and slovak festival in st. paul in the mid-afternoon, after attending the saints baseball game. first time in their building, got a good look around at the displays on the upper level. there was a plaque about a proclamation issued by franklin roosevelt, as well as about a visit by dvorak to the building and to the nearby church. i paid for a dinner that will be there next month. even liked seeing a book on display from the 1933 chicago world's fair. in the morning i did laundry. i told myself that if i got started on it early enough, i would be able to get to the saints game. so it meant i used my rain check from the night before. saints lost to toledo 3-2, on the final day of the season. i bought a kevin millar shirt from the souvenir shop, late in the game when noticing the employee was already packing up. got a good look around at the stadium before leaving, while they still had the running the bases for the kids. i picked up an interactive comic book, and a nacho bowl that will serve as a spare cereal bowl. i had been wanting one for a while, so it was nice to find one when walking through the main seating area. i didn't do much after getting home, had some pizza for the evening meal. and went to the nearby liquor store and got a can of busch light so now there are five beers waiting. then i laid down for a while. during my walks i found 88 cents.
