in the afternoon i was getting an error on the inserter machine at work, low fluid. i decided to hike up the bottle and it worked; it managed to last through the end of the day. then i can swap out the bottle in the morning when i have more time to meet deadlines. i liked how it was a fairly low volume day on check printing. vacation replacement was not in, saw an email early saying 'working from home' due to a visit from a plumber. in the evening i went to perform at an open mic. i saw a guitar player for the first time in a while, who does 50's inspired music. when the show runner sang a Dave Loggins tune i said i had it on a compilation CD, because 'the night Chicago died' was a hit that same year and on the same disc. i did stories about the bank, a pharmacy liquidation sale, a meat market, and going to the Saints game. during my walks i found 25 cents. at work the building events for the new month were announced, no popcorn event in July as it is too close to the holiday. this led to me getting a small bag of popcorn out of the vending machine at work. it was my mid-morning snack, along with the customary granola bar. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when Sheldon and Leonard cleaned penny's apartment. it was followed by the one where penny got a free chair and then said 'what's up buttercup' to Sheldon after Sheldon tried to remove it, hearing it was a throwaway.
