we had a luncheon for the colleague who is retiring, postponed from last week. we walked to a place in the skyway that i hadn't been to before, afro deli, although I've heard of it. when i got home i checked my hotmail account and found out i got airline miles from what i ordered, a pita or gyro with fries. guess this place is part of the dining for miles program. since the boss likes to go to lunch early, it was earlier than when i typically go to lunch. and it was a longer lunch than what i normally take, i am used to thirty minutes and this was more like ninety. the Fargo files were late, available to print right before i needed to leave. and it was a high-volume day as well. i sent out as much as i could, but nearly four thousand checks were left over. the smaller file went out in full but none of the larger file did. i had to chip away at it, a thousand here and there, to get it all printed by the end of the day. there is always the opportunity to get caught up the next day. even though this was a colleague that i didn't know that well, it was still a good idea to be there, i told myself. vacation replacement did not attend, was told due to back problems. during my walks i found 26 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when sheldon went on an apology tour in order to get invited on a party bus with the friends. it was followed by the one where bernadette was a double agent on a double date, although it led to a lie about who penny was dating, auto-correct said 'astronaut' instead of 'architect'.
