at work i was asked by vacation replacement if we had band aids in the shop. i said we did, made sure to move them over from the former site. some were used when returned checks were dropped off. i had them in a drawer and put them out on the counter. the backlog went down on the stubs from payroll, as i knocked it down to just the single pages. most of them had overflow pages, bumping it up to two or even three pages in one envelope. near the end of the day i noticed one check file was approved, i printed it but not enough time to send out same day. it was the Canadian file, and i don't know if it shows up as a 'red line' on the dashboard if not printed in the same day so no big deal to print it. the volume was just under fifty checks; this made the decision easier to make. the Fargo check volume was small, the two files combined was under a thousand. in the evening i went to perform. i did stories about a couch, going to the car show, the karaoke cruise, and my day off for the bank holiday. i stayed longer than typical after the show ended, chatting with the older dude who would often play a guitar and perform a song about the jetsons. although that song wasn't done this time. during my walks i found 77 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when Sheldon and raj discovered an asteroid. it was followed by the one where amy has a smoking monkey and kisses sheldon, then threw up. she tells hom to play dirty, related to leonard dating priya.
