in the morning i did the pancake breakfast at Kaposia days in south St. Paul and got the button, it says 50 years. i got some pictures as usual, there was the lion mascot from the Lions club. another was of some of the St. Paul winter carnival ambassadors. i got a look at the new cars at this dealership, which sells Chrysler brands. much like before, i am reminded of how those sticker prices are usually more than what i make a year. this is why i have bought used cars. it was nice chatting with an older couple who was at the same table as me. i spoke of some other festivals i plan on attending this summer. i was there for about an hour, arriving just after the breakfast began. it was long enough to do what i wanted to do. i drove past the stockyard gates before leaving town, not far from the dealer. i didn't do much else for the rest of the day, mostly resting. also got some event tickets ordered, and reservations made. then it meant going to the copy store to print these four items. i stopped at a Walgreen for string cheese, ice cream, and a bottle of Dunkin donuts coffee as well. except i didn't like the ice cream being locked up, as there was a wait for a store employee to unlock it. i already don't buy soap there for that reason, and i guess i might have to add ice cream to that list. late in the evening i did the dishes. during my walks i found 1 dollar 51 cents.
