near the end of the workday i send the mail tubs to the mailroom. one of those employees decided to give me a printed email about retuned checks i send to st. louis, which goes through digital mail. i said it was better to just forward me the email thread so i can ask more questions there. and i say i like being able to copy someone on an email to keep them in the loop. a check was picked up by the payroll department. there was some surprise that the doorbell still wasn't fixed yet. i sent another check to a different floor. it was for the manager that likes karaoke, but i was told to leave it with the team lead. and while there, i did the first of the food events for employee appreciation week. it was donuts from cardigan, i chose some donut holes. there was some confusion on a check i had scanned. i said it needs an overnight label, as there was no address on it. on my response when there were questions, i said if it is intended to go regular mail then i need to know where. eventually i was sent an overnight label. in the evening i went to perform. i did stories about an open house, a meetup event, a movie conversation, drink tickets, and the bank.
