this morning i watched a DVD movie, a redbox rental, 'locked down'. i recognized anne hathaway, mindy kaling, ben stiller, and ben kingsley in it. this is about a jewelry heist during the pandemic from a department store, in great britain. much of what was depicted looked familiar, such as the zoom meetings. i liked seeing anne drinking wine during one of them. anne's partner reads poetry in the street to their neighbors. i do like seeing a good heist movie, although this is not the typical one which is usually a big gang of people pulling it off. and it is a good joke when the fake identity of one character was edgar allan poe, the writer. another thing i did was go to a 'booya', same venue as the 4th of july picnic. also got some popcorn, had just a single serving cup of booya. it will be memorable for the songs i heard there, by a guitar player. it was 'peaceful easy feeling', margarita-ville', and 'have you ever seen the rain'. i was getting started on my walk down the hill back to my car when i heard the third one starting. i like rain songs, and i looked this one up and found out it was a metaphor. it was about the band's success, that was ending soon since the band's breakup was looming. when i got back to my car i liked seeing a classic corvette nearby, so i got a picture of it. i watched some pro football after i dumped the movie at the gas station, bears playing the giants, bears lost. in the early evening i performed at an open-mic, as usual cul-de-sac liked seeing me and the feeling was mutual. the one with the most reaction was the one about bible references and my dad recommending one. later on i went on a walk and found 27 cents.
