this afternoon i went to see the movie 'running the bases' in mounds view. i decided to see it not only because it was a baseball movie, but also due to multiple postings from a facebook friend saying he was in the movie. and he was, in a small role as the preacher. notable was how i passed by another AMC movie theater, in roseville, on the way to this one. i had seen some faith-based movies before, so this wasn't a new thing to me. first time in theaters probably. one of the players is always telling jokes, and i might be a comic as well, but it didn't do much for me. i think because he reminded me of comics i don't enjoy being around, those who don't know when to 'turn it off'. as expected, i liked the baseball part more than the religion. not a big crowd there at this screening, i was just one of five. and this was just one of two screenings for the day. and the only theater in the metro area showing it. this was why i finally saw it, as i knew i was running out of time. i also didn't see it listed at redbox, so i knew i couldn't count on finding it there a little later. i didn't mind the drive to and from there. on the way back i stopped at har-mar mall in roseville and found a box of halloween cereal at cub foods that was on my list-apple jacks. two others were there, but i am pacing myself on how much i get per week. especially when i already had four unopened boxes. around midday i went to a target where i got some cheese and egg nog. the cereal i was looking for wasn't there. i also went to the post office, one e-bay order was picked up. in the early evening i went to aldi for my weekly grocery order. later on i went on a walk and found 51 cents. i picked up a redbox rental movie as well, it will be watched the next day.
