i watched a 'simpsons' episode and wrote down on thing from it, about german chocolate cake. sure enough, i did the research and found out it is german because that is the creator's name, and he wasn't of german ancestry. kind of like what i once read about another grocery item, saying the only thing french about french's mustard is the name. it is still a good cake to eat, so this won't change what i will likely get at events such as oktoberfest in new ulm. i drank a can of grain belt beer tonight with my dinner, and odd how the can said 'brew' but no mention of beer. writing down a work strategy was helpful, as i did make it out on time, actually just a few minutes after my scheduled leave time. it helped to handle the overnight package labels earlier. this was also in spite of check printer issues, where i stopped the machine briefly, actually shut it off. then i noticed that it started over. i listened to all of the latest lady gaga CD, on previous attempts i had fallen asleep as i was laying down. in the evening i went on a walk and picked up 2 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when howard needed help fixing his space toilet. also, stuart asked for dating advice from leonard. it was followed by the one where leonard returns early from the north sea, and sheldon thinks penny is cheating on leonard.
