i watched a DVD movie, a video store rental this morning, 'remember the titans'. i recognized denzel washington in it. i liked the scenes at the actual football games, but understood the integration story leading up to it was a story that needed to be told. when this is 'based on a true story' i can expect that some of the scenes and characters were invented for dramatic effect. this was a movie that was being shown at the saints baseball stadium last month, but i prefer watching movies at home. i watched the trailers before the movie, and do recall seeing 'disney's the kid' at theaters when living in suburban chicago.
by the time the movie was done it was time for lunch, then i did get the last of the pack of baseball cards into binders. then it was time to do the laundry. after this was done i laid down for a while and fell asleep. in the evening i went on a walk and found 63 cents. i got a letter ready to go to st. louis, asking for some information. and the dishes got done as well. and an order was placed on amazon for 2 CDs.
