taylor swift drag brunch

this afternoon i went to a taylor swift-themed drag brunch. this was brunch number six for me, each one with a different theme. i wrote down 21 songs, most of the songs that were played there in the 90-minute show. i knew many of them, including 'love story', anti-hero', 'karma', 'i knew you were trouble', 'bad blood', 'look what you made me do', 'welcome to new york', blank space', 'shake it off', and 'ready for it'. i was seated at the bar, and had a grain belt beer and a burger with fries. during the show i noticed a ferris wheel across the street, as part of pride weekend in minneapolis apparently. when i rode the light rail into the show i saw some people i rode with were getting ready for the real taylor show at the Vikings stadium. some were ushers and some were ticket holders. a little surprising as it was hours before the show began. but i was aware from the news how some were waiting in line just to get merchandise. i did get a picture of the banner at the stadium from the light rail stop. in the morning i enjoyed both taylor discs i have. this was the '1989' CD, bought at the nearby family dollar which is now a micro-brewery. and the other is the 'CMT Crossroads' DVD with Def Leppard, bought at a walgreen. both were 'oddball finds' as both were found at non-music stores. i was interested in some of the other musicians who have appeared on this show but it is hard to find any other editions on DVD besides the one i already have. i like having the DVD as it includes '2 steps behind', the Def Leppard song that reminds me of returning to college for year two. taylor did this show while still a teenager, just a month before the release  of her 'fearless' album in 2008. figured it was a good idea to 'get out of dodge' shortly after the show ended, downtown minneapolis that is, much like after attending a twins game. after i made it home i went to aldi for my weekly grocery order. then i watched the baseball game on Fox, twins-tigers, twins lost 3-2. at midday i watched the cardinals-cubs game from London, Cardinals trailing 7-1 at the end of the 6th when i left for the brunch, the final score was 9-1. during my walks i found 32 cents. also made it to the liquor store and got a can of rolling rock so now there are four beers waiting.
