victim blaming on a uke

i performed at an open-mic in the evening, was the first one onstage. notable about the show after me was seeing a young lady playing a ukulele. the first song was about the three little pigs and she said it was also about victim blaming. guess i had fair warning for what i encountered when i was onstage, as there was an older couple who kept talking during my set. one of them said something to me about jerry seinfeld before the show and i said i don't play guitar. i called them out because it was too hard to ignore them, then others clapped when i did. i just kept plowing through. i made a reference to a taylor swift song bout apologies. after my set i had people find me an said i did well in spite of them. i said i had dealt with worse than that before. in those two earlier cases, and in this one, they were all likely drunk. not long after my set was done i saw them leave the show room so i guess i took one for the team. i found things to do on this day off before i made it to the club. i sent three weeks worth of recycle to the capitol. on the way back i stopped at a speedway gas station and got ice cream on a stick and an arnold palmer drink in a can. i got pictures of the nearby former burger king as it looks like it is finally being demolished after sitting vacant for just over five years. i also listened to comedy CDs by the wisconsin lady, acquired as my pay for documenting her show in late march. one of them i hadn't heard before but both were good. the first i had heard as a download. i watched 'jeopardy' and knew some of the answers when the contestants didn't. this included an alphabet agency from the depression, the SEC. and the final jeopardy clue, it was dolly parton awarded a hundred million by jeff bezos. it was a rarer one where one contestant didn't take part in final jeopardy due to a negative balance at the end of double jeopardy. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when sheldon and kripke competed for an office. it was followed by the one where raj dressed in a costume to promote the comic book store. during my walks i found 67 cents.
