waiting for guffman movie

tonight i went to see a movie at trylon cinema in south minneapolis, 'waiting for guffman'. i had read about it in advance how it was inspired by 'waiting for godot'. i recognized brian doyle murray and paul benedict, although both had small roles. it was being shown as it was a month of celebrating parker posey movies, who played a dairy queen employee in it. it was a mock-umentary about trying to impress a big time producer with a play about a sesqui-centennial in a small town in missouri. i do like the 'confessional booth' scenes that were throughout the movie, as it reminded me of 'the office'. and i liked the clip from 'the simpsons' before the movie started where homer eats part of the hot dog advertising the concession stand at a movie theater. the movie did not start on time, but it was listed as sold out so i am thankful i ordered an advance ticket. a group in the row behind me spoke of taylor swift albums, likely due to her upcoming shows in the area. at work there was an early email from the boss stating he was still at mille lacs and would be back the next day. there were plenty of boxes to pick up from the branch and send to the delivery table on fourth floor. i noticed a package was near the UPS box so i put it in the mailbox outside. when i re-entered the building somebody tried to piggy-back and i informed them to go to the lower level since they wanted the bank branch. the 'big bang theory' rerun was when penny cut sheldon's hair. liked one scene where amy was describing hair and then said she would be a while in the bathroom, she must have been hot and bothered. then it was on to the movie. after the movie i picked up some cheese and  vitamin water at walgreen and i saw somebody get bounced, must have been trying to shoplift.
