while out and about i noticed the gripper on the zipper for my leather jacket broke off. i recall many years ago how seeing somebody on the bus use a paperclip for this purpose, and it works well. a dry cleaner did this as well for my hawkeye coat. so i found a small one and we are back in business. first errand was to add to my certificate of deposit at the credit union as it just reached the maturity date. i have done this once a year since it started and now i have doubled the amount in it in three years. i had a sandwich at jersey mike's and when i was done i went home. i watched a baseball game on fox, cardinals beat the mets 7-4. then i had the evening meal and went to aldi, and then watched a spring football game on the same network. birmingham was way ahead early in the fourth quarter against houston, so the other game was shown. san antonio was leading against arlington and the score held up. i went to sing karaoke, but a different provider was there and i didn't like it. there was mic covers and the song, by the pumpkins, was pulled from youtube. i knew full well the lyrics were off. so i think i am looking for another venue to sing at. during my walks i found 50 cents.
