coat on statue

 i got a picture of the Humphrey statue outside of the government center in downtown Minneapolis as i noticed that someone decided to put a coat on it. i have seen things added to statues before. at work i sent three mail tubs to the mailroom at the end of the day. usually, the volume is not that high for a Monday but i know it is all dependent on what we get from the two Fargo files. i had a craving for popcorn at work and got some cheesy popcorn out of the vending machine. in the evening i went to perform at an open mic. i was on near the end of the night as i fell asleep after work, while watching the world series. a piano player was on after me. i did stories about the Czech dinner, a klondike bar, a museum visit, and a bank story about a fall-themed event. i watched some of the world series at the bar, it was game three. it was the only thing on after the Monday night football game had ended, chiefs beat the commanders. i watched some more of the world series after getting home from the bar but decided to retire for the night when it was still tied at the end of the 13th inning. i figured i could find out in the morning as to who won. it was just as well as the game lasted five more innings, and the dodgers won it with a home run.
