pumpkins at skyway level

just after midday at work i went to see the pumpkins that were decorated for the season on the skyway level. there were thirteen of them, and two of them stood out to me. one looked like the plant from 'little shop of horrors' and the other was snoopy on his doghouse. i had just visited another floor to get a small bag of treats for the season. while looking at the pumpkins i also picked up a cookie. i also picked up some copy paper when on that floor. there was a check copy request that i was unable to find, this is rare. i said there was nothing found under that check number or payee name. i said i don't have access to checks printed by a branch. in the evening i watched game five of the world series, the blue jays beat the dodgers to go ahead 3-2. actually, i was listening to it on the radio when it began as i was on my way to the French alliance. the blue jays hit back-to-back solo home runs to start the game. i was under the impression that there would be a party on the 50th anniversary of the organization's incorporation as a nonprofit. there was some mention of it on the website, and it said 'more information coming soon' but it didn't give a start time and there were no details later on despite it saying there would be. i parked and tried both doors, both were locked, so i left. i picked up a 50th anniversary shirt on a visit there this summer to the art gallery as i had attended enough events there over the years that it meant enough to me. good thing i decided to 'get while the getting is good' as i still saw some there over the weekend but not that many. on the way home i stopped at a holiday gas station and got some string cheese, hash browns, and hard-boiled eggs. i wanted to use up some of the salt and pepper packets i had saved from plastic spoons. now i am noticing these eggs do have some salt and pepper included, i know this was not always the case. i was pleased that there were some hash browns at that time of day when i am used to seeing them mostly for the breakfast part of the day. i listened to the first three innings on the radio and then saw the rest of the game on TV at home. i don't mind listening to a game on the radio as i feel the announcers usually describe the action well enough that i still know what is happening.
