airport movie

in the afternoon i watched a DVD movie, a recent purchase from goodwill, 'airport'. i had heard it was filmed at the local airport, MSP. i did notice an early scene does show an SA sign, as in the Super-America convenience store. good cast, good story. i laughed during the scene where a priest slaps a man who is going nuts and saying the plane is going to crash. it is not the first time where i had seen the spoof or parody first, though. i had seen 'airplane', which makes fun of the movies in this franchise, many years ago. this was the last of the three discs i had bought last month that i wanted to see. i did plenty for the day before watching it. there was getting a haircut at great clips, then picking up a few things at a Walgreen where i know the photo guy but didn't get any photos this time. for lunch i went to a taco bell, then printed some event tickets at a nearby copy store. actually, the first thing i had to do, after having breakfast, was return the rental car from over the weekend. i watched 'jeopardy' as well, the final jeopardy clue was about Queensland, a political division of Australia. in the evening i went to perform, and i did do some stories about being out of state, along with vending machines. since it was the anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald, one of the performers gave us copies of the song about it. and we sang it.
