the clean team

 there was a little convention in the afternoon in the shop. some officials from facilities were there for an overview of the space, and it sounds like we will have a cleaner once a week or every two weeks real soon. i said we don't have that many visitors, so it really isn't that dirty, even after nearly a year. my boss even showed up for it and normally works from home for all of Friday. i moved up my lunch so i could be ready for it. i saw three people i didn't know that well from that group, one of them had a shirt on with the name of the building management company. then a few minutes later, one of them returned with another man i didn't know and i guess that man will be the cleaner. the lady appeared to be his interpreter. in both cases, the meetings didn't last long. i stayed late, as usual, since i wanted to be caught up on the overnights before leaving. also, due to having a day off on Monday. there have been some earlier pick-up times for the overnights, according to selected tracking numbers, this week so i might have missed the only pick-up of the day. there was also another case of the newer Cincinnati business line sending me an overnight label and asking for status, even though the tracking number is on the label. i looked it up and it was delivered already. i took the light rail back to my car after work but didn't go home right away like i normally do. i had a sandwich at jersey mike's and used some points to make it a free sandwich. i still had to pay for the chips and drink and cookie, of course. then i went to the nearby target and got a box of cereal, 'the grinch'. looks like the Christmas-themed cereals are already out and i haven't finished the Halloween cereals just yet. it will likely take me the entire month to do so.
