i had an audition this evening for an 'improv' show. i don't have much experience with this form of entertainment, but i am willing to do most things for stage time. it was more fun than expected. i was one of four in the audition segment, and it was fun to feed off of the other performers. it led to me thinking of some long-dormant jokes as of course one has to think on your feet. sounds like i will hear more about the results of it later in the week. will hope for the best. one of them said she recognized me from my performances at an open-mic i started going to a few months ago.
i ordered a ticket for a history show that will be next week. i skipped one of my normal venues tonight to go to the audition, but i still performed at an open-mic after that. a few familiar faces were there, such as happy meal, his first time (that i know of) at that venue.
i got another job rejection, the second time that i was rejected as a test scorer. i even said to the agency that it is silly to reject me based on my writing abilities when i write a blog, as well as having many letters to the editor published. so i am still looking, still trying.
