i went to another airport job fair, and this one was actually at the airport this time. but i found out there was nothing in my skill set, much like the previous day. but it was still something to do, and i got photos of the displays about the upcoming super bowl. it was annoying to find out the results to two interviews from more than two weeks ago through agencies. as expected, not picked for both. but why did they wait to tell me? and why do i have to call to find out? why not email me? one of them said he thought somebody else had notified me, i don't like the feeling that i am 'not important enough' in terms of somebody else was expected to tell me. he sent me on the interview! i do have an interview for later this week, and the one from last week is still in play. but i am tired of writing 'failed!' on the printed emails related to the interviews. i have now wrote this 8 times.
in the evening i made it to the performance venue. i ranted some about the mis-adventures with the job hunt. a poet had previously said there were some homeless people at this bar, and tonight i think i saw some evidence of it. a man said 'i was good' after i was done performing, when i was in the back of the venue. or at least that is what it sounded like he said, he was hard to understand. we shook hands, and when he passed through again- possibly after going to the bathroom- he wanted to shake hands again, but i said we already had. he also wanted a camera phone selfie next to a lady who was performing music. so this would have to be considered one of the 'weirdos'. after the show i found a Canadian quarter just before i got into my car and headed home. i put it in with the others, so now i have nearly 11 dollars for when i travel to Canada again. i have been there 3 times, unsure when my next visit will be.
