I went to the weisman museum at the U of M this afternoon to see two exhibits. one was about prince, the musician, final day. the other just started last week, called 'fight or buy bonds', about propaganda posters to drum up support for world war one. as a history major of course I wanted to see that one. I made it count on the parking fee, over by the football stadium. I paid for 90 minutes, had enough time to stop for some milk and a candy bar at the campus Walgreen, and I was back at my car just as time expired.
I didn't do all that much after the exhibit, just the typical cleanup things around my home. more shredding of junk mail, as well as the dishes and recycle. of course 'the simpsons' was a rerun, but at least it was on. it was the one about visiting new orleans. I tried taking a walk in the evening but it started raining fairly early into the walk, so I turned around and went home.
