i went to the st. paul saints baseball game tonight. I was next to an older lady who said it was her first saints game. she also spoke of her son being a cardiologist at a hospital in town, as well as playing hockey for Princeton in college. I went early to the game as there was a charlie brown shirt giveaway, and I am a big fan of that comic strip. it was great getting pictures with the costumed characters before the game, they were visiting from valleyfair. the kids section of the park has a snoopy theme. the saints won, 6-5, over fargo/moorhead. one player hit 2 home runs, but both were solo and neither one were go-ahead runs. so it meant playing 'little ball' to win.
there was a facebook video about the final open-mic at a venue where I was its 'best friend'. they read my posting about being at the saints game. but there was no mention last week where the last one was coming up. the bartender said I 'broke his heart', but I had told a show runner I would be attending the baseball game instead.
I spent a lot of time this afternoon at the library applying for jobs online, it was 48 times to the same bank. I also did a typing test and excel test, as requested by one temp agency. hopefully it will yield something good soon.
