i am still researching events to see what is happening this year. one of them is st. paul oktoberfest, this is normally held at the former schmidt brewery. what i found online is 'a safer celebration', looks like it is going virtual like many other events. there was mention of an event on the germanic american institute site and their facebook page as well, but only one day. normally it is a 2-day event.
at work i got more inter-office envelopes sent, but not as many as expected. i got a box full before. but i understand they may have sent all that was available at the time. another day of no visitors to the check shop, nobody ringing the doorbell. i went on a walk in the evening and found 64 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when the friends shared their christmas stories. it included sheldon and amy going to texas to visit sheldon's mom, and his mom knew they already were living together. it was followed by when the friends went to las vegas, and a hooker was hired to cheer up howard. sheldon stayed home and got locked out, and spent the night with penny.
