there is a line in the song 'walk like an egyptian' by the bangles, 'falling down like a domino'. i guess i am seeing this fairly often at work when the envelopes are on the conveyor belt. this happens more often once i end the run, although i am not sure why it is happening now as for a while they would be facing forward and facing backwards is what is causing the domino effect. it is still fun to look at, whatever causes it. the envelope stuffer often stopped due to double feeds on the larger volume check processing, but i still was caught up by the end of the day without having to stay late.
in the evening i went on a walk and picked up 6 cents. the 'big bang theory' rerun was when howard serenaded berndadette at the cheesecake factory. i called my college roommate, the one that lives near des moines, this evening. i started off by saying that he must be happy watching football. it was in reference to the announcement that it appears the big ten season is on next month, after it was called off in august. in the emails there was another update on the ancestry DNA test from late 2017, even more specific than before. this is the third update, they are averaging one per year. so i will likely print it this weekend and put it in the binder next to the others.
