at work i decided it was time to do some vacuuming in the carpeted section of the check shop. when i went to use the vaccum i found a bazooka joe fortune, as in the chewing gum. there was a cartoon on it about a waiter having a finger in a soup. the fortune said 'your restlessness will make you a celebrated traveler'. i do enjoy traveling, but of course haven't done much of it this year due to the pandemic. seeing the muppet movie when i was young got me started on 'road movies' and of course i like attending festivals. this is the second one i have found there, i threw out the first one but will keep this one. it was kind of a slow day at work, first day back after the labor day holiday. i did an online class in hopes of filling in the time, as it was due at the end of the month, but it didn't take long to finish.
in the evening i went on a walk and picked up 28 cents. the 'big bang theory' reruns were when bert was stood up on his date and sits with sheldon and amy. then it is revealed to the two about the gossip on their sex life. it was followed by the one where sheldon and howard made a bet about crickets and lewis black, the comedian, was the guest star as the cricket expert. i also listened to two baseball games on the radio. the twins played a doubleheader in st. louis, caught some of the second game, it was a split. then after the walk it was the saints game, saints beat fargo.
